Brooke White, recently voted off American Idol, was whisked into and out of The Mike and Juliet Show with her husband nearby, in Midtown Manhattan the other day. I wonder if Brooke is really that nice in person. I mean seriously no one can be that nice right? Well, Betty White is seriously is anyone else?

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Justin Bartha continued to film Rebound on Riverside Drive and 113th Street. Catherine was happy to see a friend on the set as she arrived in her truck. The two continued to chat as they went into two seperate trailors and walked through a grassy park area. Justin hung out on a park bench and chatted on his

The Sopranos’ Steve Schirripa was interviewing people in the small park area across the street from the Plaza Hotel for the Tonight Show last week. He asked off-the-wall questions like “did you ever cheat on your income taxes…” “did you ever have sex in your car?…” and “did you ever pay for sex?” Somewhere Daniel Baldwin is saying to himself “yes, yes, and yes.”

Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson filmed a scene for New York, I Love You at the West 4th Street basketball courts while Christina Ricci directed her segment with Orlando Bloom on the Upper West Side. It’d be cool if the movie ended with Harvey Fierstein saying “New York…” he pauses, looks away, then looks at the camera, and says “I Love You.” Then sends us to final credits with his evil laugh. Just an idea, people.

George Clooney stopped in an office building on 1270 Sixth Avenue next to Radio City Music Hall the other day after his appearance on Regis and Kelly. His new film Leatherheads opened Friday. Contrary to its title, the movie isn’t about crazy sex maniacs. Sorry, that was a lame joke.

At around 1:45 p.m. on April 1, ‘bert patrol’ member Andrew Plotkin was asked to take a Tootsie-esque shot of Jon and Rich. It almost worked. Something’s telling me it might be you.

Gossip Girls Blake Lively and Michelle Trachtenberg were filming in the West Village at the Spice Market last week. After filming, Blake stopped in one of the trailers to pick up her little dog Penny as the film location changed to another site. That’s a cute dog. I would get one if they didn’t - you know - poop.

Today on The Covino and Rich Show-It’s the last day of Marchstacheness! And the boys wanted everyone who participated to send in their photos of themselves living their one day as a mustache man. Also we kicked off with a brief recap of the do’s and don’t of wearing sports gear, and weather or not it was lame to wear the paraphernalia of a sports player that is younger than you are.

Next we welcomed our first guests, Rich and Jon, to the show, who created a book called “The Book of Bert,” that pays homage to famous mustached men. They explained that their theory on mustached men being brilliant, for example Einstein and then helped us create our All-Stache Baseball team. The end results were as follows: Behind the Plate-Thurman Munson First Base-Keith Hernandez Second Base-Jeff Kent Third Base-Mike Shmidt Center Field-Vince Coleman Right Field-Reggie Jackson Left Field-Jim Rice

We then let everyone know that our friend Sean the Lawyer was doing a test show on Maxim, tomorrow March 29th , from 2-4pm, and then went on to talk about marriage. Hideki Matsuigot has announced that he is getting married and Covino and Rich wondered if the rest of the New York Yankees may follow his lead. They noticed that when one person within a group of friends takes the next step in a relationship and gets married, the rest of the group tends to do the same shortly after, especially within a close knit group of women. The guys explained that they think when a relative around the same age as a woman, or one of her friends has a wedding, that woman starts to feel pressure to do the same, and is envious. Guy’s feel the same pressure, but before a male is happy for the first friend to go down the isle, they usually get a certain amount of abuse for it. Many of the listeners called to voice their opinions and explain that they did in fact agree with the guys. Spot feels that Rich and Covino will get married at close to the same time because their relationship patterns mirror each other so closely, they were always single and taken, at the same time.
