JonChattman is a pop culture and mustache expert. He created the site in October 2005 as a way to fill the pop culture void (lack thereof) on the Internet. His pal Rich Tarantino helped get the site off the ground with graphic design work, quirky features, and shameless promotion.
Chattman has regularly written on film and community news for various publications—from weekly community newspapers to national publications like The New York Post and TV Guide for nearly ten years. He’s covered everything from film premieres to festivals, and has interviewed a wide range of talent, from Al Gore to Alf.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous promotions and acknowledgments including several writing awards from the New York Press Association (NYPA). He has two books being published this winter by Triad Publishing: Rock On!, an anthology of first concert experiences, and The Book of Bert: High Class Stars with Some High Class ‘Stache, a celebration of 25 celebrities with the best mustaches ever.
