American Idol: Four Judges and a Seacrest
American Idol was back in busIness at Chelsea Piers as auditions began in NYC. Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson were joined by new judge Carla DioGuardi for the upcoming season. DioGuardi will bring more “girl power,” but what the show really needs is to lose a bunch of its gimmicks: no Ford music videos; no song montages…I can go on, but won’t. You know why? Because no matter what they do, I’ll watch. Guilty.
