Confessions of a Cougar: Michael Phelps






As the games of the 29th Olympiad roll on in Beijing; the world’s eyes are tuned in to see what this waterbabe can do. He left an amazing mark in 2004 with his 6 gold medals and is thisclose to smashing Mark Spitz’s record of eight gold medals set in Munich,1972 (complete with a fierce Bert). And this is his third Olympics! At 23, Phelps has captured the hearts and minds of sports fans all over; blessed with a gift that one can only describe as amazing. The self-described “solitary man” overcame ADHD as a child and blossomed into the man he is today. He attended the University of Michigan and studied sports management and marketing. Not one to steer away from controversy: Phelps had a DUI incident in November 2004 that he knows disappointed a lot of fans and those who believed in him. He called it an “isolated incident”.
