Morning Stache: Tim McClelland

Twenty five years ago today, Hall of Famer George Brett was called out by home plate umpire Tim McClelland for his excessive use of pine tar on his bat. The Royal great went yard on Yankee Goose Goosage which led to the ninth inning incident that saw him charge out of the dugout screaming wildly after getting the heave-ho. Who knows, maybe what Brett really wanted was a closer look at the excessive use of pine tar on McClelland’s mustache.
