About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

Confessions of a Cougar: Seth Rogen

From Freaks and Geeks to Undeclared to Donnie Darko to Knocked Up; the 26-year-old Vancouver native has been consistent in whatever role he tackles or project he writes. In fact, he earned an Emmy nomination for writing in 2005 for Da Ali G Show. He plans on writing a future episode of The Simpsons with longtime collaborator Evan Goldberg. The Pineapple Express is set to be released on August 6th and reunites him with another Freaks alum: James Franco. Seth is one fine Canadian. Not quite Rick Moranis but he will certainly do.
