About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

Best Mustache Ever with Patty Smyth

“I think I like Sam Elliott’s mustache the best in a way. I think he was the best looking guy with a mustache. He had a good vibe with his mustache like it didn’t bother me that he had one. You know what I mean? I like Groucho Marx’s mustache. That would be my favorite mustache carrier, and that wasn’t even real. Was it? It looks like a black brush when it crosses his face or something.”
