Mamma Mia! This 30-year-old British yum yum had an effective role in the movie musical based on the Broadway smash. Playing the fiance of Amanda Seyfried’s Sophie, Dominic’s Sky had dreams that were put on hold like some of the main characters. He turns up the heat on his duet with Seyfried as they belt out “Lay All Your Love on Me” as his character preps for his night out with the guys the night before his wedding. Cooper made a name for himself stateside as Dakin in “The History Boys,” a role he reprised in film and over on London’s West End stage. On another extreme, he played Wilbur in a radio production of Charlotte’s Web. But his smoldering gazes and intense performance as Mr. Willoughby in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice has women overseas declaring him a hearthrob. This American woman couldn’t agree more.
