Leave Kanye West alone

Chris Crocker had the wrong idea. Well, not really. I could throw on some makeup and cry for YouTube but it’d come off as very disturbing (how would I be able to face my wife and my empty office with the flickering lights at work?), unfunny, and would fail to generate 1/100 of the amount Crocker’s Spears tirade did. Even so, I feel I have to say this. It’s time for everyone to leave Kanye West alone. Yeah, the guy’s got a huge ego - blah blah - enough. The guy’s the best rapper of his generation, turned out the best album of the year last year, and delivers excellent videos to match.
All I’ve read about this week is how Kanye’s supposedly going to anger management - that’s supposedly bullshit, how he’s stuck with his late mother’s debt, and how the Bonnaroo crowd still isn’t over his late registration (get it?) to the fest. Oh yeah, and worst yet, he got called a “cunt” by Amy Winehouse. Pot. Kettle. Black. It’s time to stop making news where there is none. Let Kanye tour, and leave him alone.
