About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

Alex Rodriguez and Madonna sexual explosion?

Alex Rodriguez is seen here leaving his Manhattan digs en route to a Yankee game. He stopped to sign a few autographs but was mum about rumors of an affair with Madonna. I don’t think he’s dating the Material Girl. Maybe he wants to talk Kabbalah or ask her about behind the scenes stories of filming Shanghai Surprise. I mean there is no DVD commentary on that film available.
