Remembering George Carlin: Dave Coulier

I’ll be posting comments from those in the industry who are saddened by George Carlin’s passing and wanted to share their thoughts on his influence and tremendous body of work with us. Here’s a poignant one from comedian Dave Coulier

“George Carlin was ‘the’ reason I started in comedy. I used to listen to his records with my good friend, and television director, Mark Cendrowski when we were in grade school. We used to crank-up the volume whenever his ‘Seven Dirty Words’ was playing to see if our moms could decipher what George was saying from our basement. My favorite line from George summed up global warming and saving the planet (something like this): ‘The Earth’s been here for four-and-a-half billion years. The Earth’s not going anywhere…we are!!!’ His poignant, funny voice will be forever missed.”
