About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

Anderson Cooper’s New York City

Anderson Cooper looks for a taxi on Sixth Avenue the other day. Tell me this doesn’t look like an album cover. If ever Cooper wanted to make an album, all he’d have to do is turn this pic black & white, and he’d look friggidly fresh. Friggidly, by the way, is a word I just made up. Quick, someone give Anderson singing lessons, and hook him up with Timbaland.
