About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

Uma Thurman filming Motherhood

Uma Thurman was filming a scene in her new movie Motherhood in the West Village. She was caught rushing with a baby on her back and carrying a dog while frantically trying to get into her car. In real life, Uma has children of her own - not sure if she owns a dog. Dogs are kind of annoying, because you have to take them out to poop.
