About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

Beyonce pregnant in NY?

Beyonce, rumored to be pregnant, is seen leaving a Midtown office building after a meeting yesterday. We can’t confirm the baby but can confirm she wrote a song about her booty when she was in Destiny’s Child. I don’t think I can handle it. On an unrelated note, her bodyguard looks like Goldberg.
