About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

Chazz Palminteri and Christine Lahti at Tribeca FF

Chazz Palminteri and Christine Lahti arrive at the Retna Portrait Studios in Chelsea for the Tribeca Film Festival. The two chatted with others outside the studio after
exiting.Then, the two drove to the Butterick Building in SoHo. I’d like to cover the Tribeca Film Festival but my 9-5 screws that up each year. Look away, I don’t want you to see me crying.
