About the 'pop'

The site was created in October 2005 by Jon Chattman as a way to entertain - a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web.

This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall.

All We Are Saying is give Al Sharpton a chance

The Rev. Al Sharpton stopped at the Starbucks on Columbus Avenue & West 67th Street to grab a cup of coffee. He flashed a peace sign but reminded photographers it wasn’t a gang symbol. Another pic of Sharpy (as we like to call him) follows.
